On Saturday, October 15, the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders and members of the Miami Dolphins Womens Organization supported the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s cause to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research at their annual Race for a Cure. Jeanette Sparano, wife of Head Coach Tony Sparano, was a guest speaker at the event, speaking about the importance of visiting the doctor regularly and supporting this cause. She was followed by a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader performance. Finally, with the 5K start, five Cheerleaders ran the full race to really show their support for the cause.
“This disease effects so many people every day, so it’s great to be able to show support from the team for a cause of such magnitude,” said 2nd year cheerleader, Jessica. “We are really happy to be a part of this event year after year.”
